The laboratory is set up to design and package novel viruses,evaluate the efficacy of genetic manipulation in vitro, stereotaxically inject the viruses in vivo, and evaluate the impact of the molecular manipulation using imaging and whole cell electrophysiology.  In addition to these in-lab capabilities we have access to a number of useful core facilities including the Zeiss LSM510 confocal microscope and a Prairie two-photon microscope with two workstations.
